- Rarity : Anypony who knows you knows it’s silly to feel that way. That’s why I felt so awful about it, I suppose.
- Spike : It’s okay. I’m used to it by now.
- Spike : Twilight says - "Ponies still got an animal part in their brains that tells them to run away from dragons. Lots of dragons eat ponies after all."
- Spike : I know I look just like one of those monsters.
- Rarity : You are NOT a monster, Spike.
- Rarity : I know how kindhearted you are.
I don’t want to ever hear you compare yourself to one of them again.

- Spike : Thanks. But I still look like them.
- Rarity : Spike!
