    1. Starlight and her best friends were all excited when they got to take a field trip with the rest of their classmates, with their teacher Mrs.
      Cheerliee Apple...Candy Apple's mother...accompanying them.
As they made their way out of the city and down the roads where nothing but green meadows and peaceful forests reside, the carriages passed close to the Black Fog Forest, which was said to be haunted by monsters and all are forbidden to enter.
However, just as they passed it by, a pack of timberwolves and gargoyles emerged from the dark forest and gave chase.
Even as the stallions who pulled the carriage gave it their best to escape the packs of wicked monsters, the gargoyles caught up, broke open the top, and took the Yearling Six back to the woods...and to their master.
    2. Starlight and her friends were brought before the evil witch Grenadier Apple; Turned out, she was hiding within these dark woods all this time.
Starlight could not help but feel as though she knew this mare, and the feeling was correct: Grenadier revealed she was the reason Princess Twilight and Prince Courageous kept her inside the palace...locked up...for years.
She even revealed that she would have her revenge soon enough, and placed a dark spell upon Starlight's locked.
Once they had enough, the Yearling Six turned and ran away...but were not followed.
They eventually made it out of the forest and were reunited with their parents.
    3. Mother's Day had finally arrived, and once Courageous gave his own mother a special gift...it was Starlight's turn to give one to her mother.
Due to being short on allowance since she spent most of it on pedicures and some new books to read, all Starlight had left was to buy a fresh, delicious apple straight from from the farming community of Applelulu.
She then presented her Mother's Day gift to her mother, and Princess Twilight appreciated the gift so much, that right after she gave her precious daughter a sweet kiss on her cheek to thank her, she bit into the apple to taste the freshness of it.
    4. Not long after when the Royal Family made their way to the throne room, Princess Twilight suddenly passed out before she could take another bite of her delicious apple, and fell into a dark sleep; The apple had somehow been cursed.
Just as Prince Courageous and Princess Starlight reacted to this, the latter's locket glowed with dark magic...and before they knew it, Grenadier Apple appeared before them all: She had cursed both the apple and some of the guards using Starlight's locket, which she empowered back in the Black Fog Forest, so that she may use it as a means to bring about trouble from within; Since she could not get into the palace due to the powerful magic placed on it by Princess Twilight herself, and the many loyal guards, Grenadier found a new means to enter...through the young Princess.
Before Courageous could react to this, some of the possessed guards arrived, along with the box that a shard of Tirek's amulet was kept inside...one of four pieces that were shattered years ago.
Grenadier Apple now had possession of one of the most powerful and evil items in the world, and would use it to take control of Tambelon.
    5. Courageous did battle with Grenadier Apple, but despite the Light on his side, time and age was not on his side...and the evil witch proved to be so much more powerful thanks to the amulet shard she wore.
It felt as though Courageous was going to lose this battle...and once he did, all of Tambelon would be lost to the Darkness.
    6. As one of the few Royal Guards unaffected by Grenadier's power, Oath Sworn raced her way up to the tallest tower where the Bell of Tambelon rang.
Any within the city who were of evil who heard it ring would be stunned and weakened, and this was perhaps the only chance of saving Tambelon Island.
She took hold of the rope with her teeth and pulled, and the bell rang.
    7. The rings stunned Grenadier with just enough time for Courageous to power up his horn and shoot a large ray of Light at Grenadier.
This broke most of her spells upon herself, which kept her young and beautiful; Her desire to remain such led her down the dark path so long ago, and even cost her friendship with Granny Smith, who was like a sister to her.
Grenadier's aged body had returned, along with her country accent which she removed magically long ago as well.
She was once again...an elder pony, weak and feeble.
Losing that which she treasured brought Grenadier to use the amulet's power to teleport out of the castle and back to her forest to hide.
    8. Grenadier arrived back in the crystal caverns where she made her base for years.
There, she came before the Dark Spirit in the Mirror...whom she had done the bidding of...and presented the amulet shard before him.
She begged for him to restore her youth and beauty, but the spirit merely scoffed, took the amulet from Grenadier...and cast it deep into the caverns, for something much worse than the beaten witch to arise soon enough.
The gargoyle servants left the woods, with the mirror...leaving Grenadier to her fate.
    9. It wasnt long before Princess Celestia, Luna, and many other ponies who cared so much for Princess Twilight Sparkle to arrive into the woods and give chase to Grenadier, just as a thunder storm rolled in.
She fled to the highest point in the woods and attempted to throw a boulder down at them to keep them away, but both Celestia and Luna prevented it and captured the evil witch...and vowed to see her imprisoned for the remainder of her life.
    10. Twilight remained sound asleep, for the dark power that kept her in this state came from a source that so much more powerful than what Courageous could challenge alone.
Knowing that not even the Elements of Harmony along with his Light could fix this, there was only one choice: He leaned down and pressed his lips to those of his wife, to not only show his eternal love for her...but to use evey ounce of the Light that aided him since that time so far and long ago, to awaken his beloved mare.
    11. Courageous Heart had given up his role as Champion of the Light, and was returned to the way he was before...with blue eyes rather than golden ones, along with the colors of his cutie mark changed.
He was the Light's Chosen no more, but his sacrifice allowed for Twilight Sparkle to awaken...and all around rejoiced.
Starlight was so happy to have her mother back, and Twilight herself was so relieved to be awake again, and to see her beloved family once more.
    12. To celebrate their victory in saving Tambelon, Twilight's awakening, and Grenadier's imprisonment...which meant the two parents would never have to worry about their daughter's safety again, for now at least...they threw a party in the castle's gardens and invited all their families and friends, along with other guests.
Starlight and all her friends gathered around and had a fun time, just as Twilight and her friends did the same.
Even Oath Sworn met a handsome guard pony while at the party, and since they worked in different areas and never really spoke much...they enjoyed some time off to chat.
As for Twilight and Courageous, they may have won this fight...even at the cost of the Light at their side, but they would continue to keep all evil at bay, together, so Friendship and Harmony would shine bright in their kingdom paradise.
